The service
JournalistLabs publishes counts of journalists by beat, outlet and country, and lists of the journalists covering a beat. There is no account and no paywall.
Acceptable use
You may cite, quote and link to any count on this site, with attribution and a link back to the page it came from. You may not present the data as your own research or republish it as a competing dataset without attribution.
Data accuracy
Counts are produced by matching job titles against fixed word rules. A title can be missed or misread, and profiles go out of date. The method page states the sources, the rules and the funnel behind every figure. The service is provided as is, without warranty of accuracy or completeness.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, JournalistLabs is not liable for decisions made using the published counts.
