What we collect from visitors
- Aggregate page views, through our own analytics, not a third-party tracker.
- An email address, only if you submit it in the update form. It is used to announce the next count.
The site has no account and no login, and no cookie is tied to a person.
People named on the site
Beat lists name journalists with their outlet and job title. These come from titles and headlines the person published on their own professional profile, and from Wikidata. The method page lists the sources. To ask about or correct an entry, email the address below.
Processors
- Render: hosts the application.
- Pulse (pulse-rvrb.onrender.com): our own analytics, on our own server. It records page views and update-form submissions.
