- AI: the strict lexicon from the AI desks report (a.i., artificial intelligence, machine
  learning, generative AI, LLM, ChatGPT, OpenAI), job title only: 63 rows. The vendor's "a i"
  spelling adds 2 more (both at The New York Times), which are left out here.
- Poverty: job title matches `\b(poverty|inequality)\b`. Homelessness: `\bhomeless\w*\b`.
- Limits: only about a quarter of rows name a beat in the title. Many outlets cover poverty under
  "social affairs", "economy" or "housing" titles (the BBC has 4 "social affairs" titles), and
  the vendor holds about 72% of the BBC's published staff figure. The counts are of people whose
  title names the subject, not of all coverage.
- 4 of the BBC's 5 AI titles are jobs that bring AI into the newsroom; 1 is an AI correspondent.
